Program Description

The Film Technology track prepares students for careers in the film industry. The training is a three-semester program in partnership with the Next Generation Media Academy (NGMA), New Mexico Film Office, and International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) Local 480. The classes are application based leading to actual film production in the third semester. First semester courses will be taught on ENMU-Roswell's campus, with the second and third semesters taught at NGMA in Las Cruces, NM, Albuquerque, NM, or another filming location. Please check with the program advisor for more details. Room and board are included in tuition for the second and third semesters. Once students have completed the courses, the student may apply to IATSE Local 480 for union membership.
